How do I get my first cat?
Open the app and tap the surprise box. Give your new cat a name and you're in.
How do I get another cat?
Keep every cat in the house happy for three days (72 hours) and a new surprise box shows up at your door.
How do I add the widget?
Long-press an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Nekobit. There are small, medium and large Home Screen widgets and Lock Screen widgets.
My cat went out. Is that normal?
Yes. Some personalities like to wander. You can call them home early, or wait, and they often bring a present back.
How do I record my own cat's meow?
Tap My Cats at the top of the home screen, then Record a Meow on the cat you want. Allow microphone access when asked, record up to 3 seconds and tap Save. If you said no to the microphone before, turn it on for Nekobit in the Settings app.
I changed phones. Where are my cats?
Sign in to the same iCloud account on the new phone and open Nekobit. Your cats, purchases and recorded meows come back from your own iCloud.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Settings inside Nekobit and tap Restore Purchases. Most shop items are consumables, so restoring brings back the Call Bell. Everything you've bought is also part of your iCloud backup.
A cat went to live on a farm. Can I get them back?
A cat left sick for 12 hours goes to live on a farm and can't be cared for anymore. Feeding and cleaning your cats regularly keeps them healthy, and notifications remind you when someone needs you.
